Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Chargers battle the North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, October 11. Crest will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 0-15 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC).

With the loss, South Point drops to 3-11 on the campaign. The Red raiders host Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC) to battle the Mountaineers in a non-league match on Tuesday, October 11.
