In Thursday's league contest, the Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS (San Mateo, CA) volleyball squad nudged the host Half Moon Bay Cougars (Half Moon Bay, CA), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the FIGHTING KNIGHTS battle the Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) in a contest, on Tuesday, October 11. Hillsdale will attempt to better on its 10-11 season record. The Bears go into the contest with a 12-9 record after their 2-0 league loss to Carlmont (Belmont, CA).
