The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) and the host Monroe Vikings (North Hills, CA), saw Poly's volleyball squad nip Monroe by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Poly upgrades its record to 12-11 on the year. The Parrots host Arleta (Arleta, CA) to play the Mustangs in a bout on Monday, October 10. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 1-10. Arleta lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Canoga Park (Canoga Park, CA)
