October 6, 2022: Bucksport, ME 04416 The George Stevens Academy Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Bucksport Golden Bucks to 1 in the Eagles league victory on Thursday.
The Eagles now have a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount Desert Island for a non-league game on Friday, October 7. George Stevens Academy will meet a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 league win over Brewer (Brewer, ME). The Trojans record now stands at 7-3.
The Golden Bucks (2-8) will now prepare for their game against North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME). The Panthers enter the Class C game with a 2-7 record. In their last game, North Yarmouth Academy dropped by Wells (Wells, ME), 3-0, in a non-league game.
