In Friday's league match, the host North Central Knights football squad scored a good 40-15 victory over the Buford Yellowjackets.

In their next game, the Knights clash with the Cheraw Braves (Cheraw, SC) in a AA Region 5 match, on Friday, October 13. North Central will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Braves enter the match with a 2-5 record after their 63-13 league win over Central (Pageland, SC).
