The South Jefferson Spartans (Adams, NY) football defeated the visiting Mexico Tigers (Mexico, NY), 50-21 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Jamesville-DeWitt Red Rams (DeWitt, NY) in a Section 3 B - 2 bout, on Friday, October 13. South Jefferson will attempt to advance on its 4-1 season record.
