North Carolina High School Football - Patton knocked off by R-S Central

October 6, 2023: Rutherfordton, NC 28139

R-S Central Hilltoppers (Rutherfordton, NC) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC), 33-6 in a league test.

With the triumph, R-S Central improves its record to 2-5 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host East Rutherford (Forest City, NC) to confront the Cavaliers in a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills test on Friday, October 13. The Cavaliers come into the test with a record of 3-5. East Rutherford lost 41-35 in their recent league test against Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC)

With the loss, Patton drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Panthers host Brevard (Brevard, NC) to confront the Blue Devils in a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills test on Friday, October 13. The Blue Devils come into the test with a record of 5-2. Brevard won 28-21 in their recent league test against Chase (Forest City, NC)
