In Friday's league game, the Thames River co-op [Norwich RVT/Grasso RVT/St. Bernard] Crusaders (Norwich, CT) football team knocked off the visiting Platt RVT Panthers (Milford, CT), by a final score of 28-18.

The Crusaders (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Killingly (Killingly, CT). The Redmen come into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Killingly toppled Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT), 50-21, in a league game.
