The Cheney RVT Beavers football squad scored 29 points and limited the visiting Platt RVT Panthers to 14 in the Beavers league win on Friday.

The Beavers now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Bullard-Havens RVT/Kolbe-Cathedral for a Connecticut Tech battle on Friday, September 22. Cheney RVT will play a Tigers squad coming off a 27-0 league win over O'Brien RVT (Ansonia, CT). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
