West Virginia High School Football - Summers County trounces Sherman
October 6, 2023: Seth, WV 25181 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Summers County Bobcats football squad scored a big 52-6 victory over the Sherman Tide.
In their next game, the Bobcats clash with the Meadow Bridge Wildcats (Meadow Bridge, WV) in a Coalfield A match, on Friday, October 13. Summers County will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 3-3 record after their 38-22 non-league win over Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV).
The Tide (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Van (Van, WV). The Bulldogs enter the Coalfield A match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Van was crushed by Paden City (Paden City, WV), 48-26, in a non-league match.
