October 6, 2023: Hartford, CT 06105 The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the East Granby Crusaders (East Granby, CT) and the host Classical Magnet Gladiators (Hartford, CT), saw East Granby's volleyball squad beat Classical Magnet by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, East Granby upgrades its record to 2-9 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Sports & Medical Sciences Academy (Hartford, CT) to play the Tigers in a North Central Connecticut bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Sports & Medical Sciences Academy lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Rockville (Vernon, CT)
The Gladiators now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they host University for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 10. Classical Magnet will play a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Weaver (Hartford, CT). The Hawks record now stands at 1-9.
