October 6, 2025: Lynchburg, VA 24501 Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting George Washington Eagles (Danville, VA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Glass improves its record to 3-6 on the season. The Hilltoppers host Heritage (Lynchburg, VA) to face the Pioneers in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 0-7. Heritage lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA)
Next, the Eagles meet the Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. George Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Comets come into the challenge with a 11-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Chatham (Chatham, VA).
