Jones Trojans (Trenton, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Washington Montessori Eagles (Washington, NC), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC). The Devilpups come into the non-league challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last challenge, Lejeune lost by Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Pamlico Christian Academy Mariners (Grantsboro, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Washington Montessori will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Mariners come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 2-1 league loss to New Bern Christian Academy (New Bern, NC).
