October 6, 2025: Baskerville, VA 23915 Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Mecklenburg County Phoenix (Baskerville, VA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lunenburg Central improves its record to 7-2 on the season. The Chargers travel to Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA) to face the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Amelia County won 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against King William (King William, VA)
Next, the Phoenix meet the Bassett Bengals (Bassett, VA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, October 7. Mecklenburg County will attempt to advance on its 4-9 season record. The Bengals go into the test with a 1-11 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Halifax County (South Boston, VA).
