Maryland High School Soccer - Northwood knocks off Springbrook
October 6, 2025: Silver Spring, MD 20904 In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Northwood Gladiators soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Springbrook Blue Devils.
With the triumph, Northwood advances its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Gladiators host Wootton (Rockville, MD) to clash with the Patriots in a Class 3A West II test on Saturday, October 11. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 2-4. Wootton lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Churchill (Potomac, MD)
The Blue Devils now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Seneca Valley for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 8. Springbrook will clash with a Screamin' Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD). The Screamin' Eagles record now stands at 0-5.
