The Gideon Bulldogs volleyball team (Gideon, MO), was tipped 3-2 in Monday's league contest with the visiting Bernie Mules (Bernie, MO)

The Mules (20-8) will now prepare for their contest against Twin Rivers (Broseley, MO). The Royals enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Twin Rivers nudged Caruthersville (Caruthersville, MO), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Bulldogs now sport a 24-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Risco for a Class 1 District 2 test on Thursday, October 9. Gideon will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over North Pemiscot (Wardell, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 18-9.
