Virginia High School Volleyball - Eastern Montgomery overwhelmed by Bland County

October 6, 2025: Rocky Gap, VA 24366

The Bland County Bears topped the visiting Eastern Montgomery Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league game.

Next up, the Bears confront the Giles Spartans (Pearisburg, VA) in a Mountain Empire game, on Tuesday, October 7. Bland County will attempt to advance on its 8-4 season record. The Spartans go into the game with a 13-1 record after their 3-2 league win over Auburn (Riner, VA).

The Mustangs (10-4) will now prepare for their game against Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA). The Fighting Blues go into the Pioneer game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, Parry McCluer gained a win over Nelson County (Lovingston, VA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
