Ohio High School Volleyball - Monroe can't hold off Miamisburg

In Monday's non-league match, the Miamisburg Vikings (Miamisburg, OH) volleyball squad tipped the host Monroe Hornets (Monroe, OH), by a count of 3-2.

Next up, the Vikings battle the Northmont Thunderbolts (Clayton, OH) in a Greater Western Ohio match, on Tuesday, October 7. Miamisburg will attempt to move on its 2-16 season record. The Thunderbolts enter the match with a 10-9 record after their 3-1 league win over Fairmont (Kettering, OH).

With the loss, Monroe drops to 2-18 on the campaign. The Hornets host Preble Shawnee (Camden, OH) to clash with the Arrows in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 7.
