The Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA) football routed the host Mid Valley Spartans (Throop, PA), 50-6 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Dunmore Bucks (Dunmore, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 14. Western Wayne will attempt to advance on its 6-1 season record. The Bucks enter the bout with a 5-2 record after their 55-14 non-league loss to Lakeland (Jermyn, PA).

The Spartans (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against Honesdale (Honesdale, PA). The Hornets enter the non-league bout with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Honesdale walloped West Scranton (Scranton, PA), 28-6, in a league bout.
