The Western Wayne Wildcats football squad scored 35 points and restricted the visiting West Scranton Invaders to 0 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now possess a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mid Valley for a Lackawanna 3 battle on Friday, October 7. Western Wayne will play a Spartans squad coming off a 37-2 league loss to Dunmore (Dunmore, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 2-4.
