Cony Rams (Augusta, ME) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Nokomis Warriors (Newport, ME), 2-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Rams confront the Maranacook Black Bears (Readfield, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 11. Cony will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Black Bears enter the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME).
