Iowa High School Volleyball - Hudson can't hold off Aplington-Parkersburg
October 7, 2023: Hudson, IA 50643 In Saturday's league battle, the visiting Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Hudson Pirates.
The Falcons (26-7) will now prepare for their battle against Don Bosco (Gilbertville, IA). The Dons come into the non-league battle with a 13-11 record. In their last battle, Don Bosco nudged Dunkerton (Dunkerton, IA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Pirates clash with the Durant Wildcats (Durant, IA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, October 18. Hudson will attempt to advance on its 16-14 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 14-10 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Maquoketa (Maquoketa, IA).
