The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders (Macomb, MI) and the host Birch Run Panthers (Birch Run, MI), saw L'Anse Creuse North's volleyball squad beat Birch Run by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, L'Anse Creuse North upgrades its record to 23-3 on the year. The Crusaders travel to Divine Child (Dearborn, MI) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 2-15. Divine Child won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Central Catholic (Toledo, OH)

The Panthers now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Walled Lake Western for a non-league bout on Sunday, October 8. Birch Run will play a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to North Farmington (Farmington Hills, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 1-20.
