The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Central Tigers (Little Rock, AR) and the visiting Valley View Blazers (Jonesboro, AR), saw Central's volleyball squad beat Valley View by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Central upgrades its record to 15-7 on the year. The Tigers travel to Shiloh Christian (Springdale, AR) to play the Saints in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 19-4. Shiloh Christian won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Prairie Grove (Prairie Grove, AR)

The Blazers now own a 18-8 record. They play next when they travel to Wynne for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 7. Valley View will play a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over West Memphis (West Memphis, AR). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 23-4.
