October 7, 2023: Box Elder, SD 57719 The Douglas Patriots topped the visiting Sturgis Brown Scoopers volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Patriots now have a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stevens for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 10. Douglas will confront a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Huron (Huron, SD). The Raiders record now stands at 13-11.
The Scoopers (4-17) will now prepare for their test against Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD). The Golddiggers enter the non-league test with a 3-23 record. In their last test, Lead-Deadwood gained a win over New Underwood (New Underwood, SD), 3-0, in a non-league test.
