The The Carmel School Wildcats held off the host Veritas School Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Wildcats now have a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Virginia HomeSchool Athletic Association for a non-league game on Saturday, October 7.

The Lions (8-10) will now prepare for their game against Williamsburg Christian Academy (Williamsburg, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league game with a 1-11 record. In their last game, Williamsburg Christian Academy was nudged by Grace Christian School (Mechanicsville, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
