The Valmeyer Pirates (Valmeyer, IL) volleyball overcame the visiting Trico Pioneers (Campbell Hill, IL), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Valmeyer upgrades its record to 27-3 on the year. The Pirates travel to Red Bud (Red Bud, IL) to play the Musketeers in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 7.
