Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Mountain View nudges Western Wayne
October 7, 2024: Lake Ariel, PA 18436 Fans at Monday's league battle between the Mountain View Eagles (Kingsley, PA) and the host Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA), saw Mountain View's soccer squad hold off Western Wayne by a score of 4-3.
The Eagles (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against Lakeland (Jermyn, PA). The Chiefs enter the Lackawanna - Division II battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Lakeland tipped Mid Valley (Throop, PA), 6-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Dunmore Bucks (Dunmore, PA) in a Lackawanna - Division II battle, on Wednesday, October 9. Western Wayne will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Bucks enter the battle with a 13-1 record after their 4-0 league win over Gregory The Great Academy (Elmhurst Township, PA).
