October 7, 2024: Rose Hill, NC 28458 The Neuse Charter Cougars edged the host Union Spartans soccer team by a tally of 4-3 in Monday's league game.
Next, the Cougars face the North Duplin Rebels (Calypso, NC) in a Carolina 1A game, on Wednesday, October 9. Neuse Charter will attempt to advance on its 4-10 season record. The Rebels enter the game with a 1-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC).
The Spartans (2-12) will now prepare for their game against Lakewood (Roseboro, NC). The Leopards enter the Carolina 1A game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, Lakewood held off Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC), 4-3, in a league game.
