Georgia High School Softball - Rabun County succumbs to Lumpkin County
October 7, 2024: Dahlonega, GA 30533 In Monday's non-league test, the Lumpkin County Indians (Dahlonega, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Rabun County Wildcats (Tiger, GA), by a tally of 9-1.
Next, the Indians clash with the Chestatee War Eagles (Gainesville, GA) in a 3A Region 6 test, on Tuesday, October 8. Lumpkin County will attempt to advance on its 18-10 season record. The War Eagles go into the test with a 3-22 record after their 10-6 non-league loss to West Hall (Oakwood, GA).
The Wildcats (5-14) will now prepare for their test against Hart County (Hartwell, GA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 7-12 record. In their last test, Hart County was routed by Franklin County (Carnesville, GA), 5-0, in a league test.
