New York High School Volleyball - Beacon over Liberty
October 7, 2024: Beacon, NY 12508 The Beacon Bulldogs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Liberty Indians to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Monday.
The Bulldogs now have a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fallsburg for a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 9. Beacon will play a Comets team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Monticello (Monticello, NY). The Comets record now stands at 5-7.
With the loss, Liberty drops to 0-13 on the campaign. The Indians host Port Jervis (Port Jervis, NY) to play the Raiders in a Section 9 Orange County III outing on Wednesday, October 9. The Raiders come into the outing with a record of 4-8. Port Jervis won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Goshen Central (Goshen, NY)
