The Holston Cavaliers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Council Cobras to 0 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Monday.

The Cavaliers now have a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Rural Retreat for a Hogoheegee outing on Tuesday, October 8. Holston will play a Indians team coming off a 3-1 league win over Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA). The Indians record now stands at 12-7.

With the loss, Council drops to 1-10 on the campaign. The Cobras travel to Grundy (Grundy, VA) to play the Golden Wave in a Black Diamond outing on Tuesday, October 8.
