October 7, 2024: Birmingham, AL 35221 John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers (Birmingham, AL) followers left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Wenonah Dragons (Birmingham, AL), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, John Carroll Catholic advances its record to 9-10 on the season. The Cavaliers host Calera (Calera, AL) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, October 10. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 4-13. Calera lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Montevallo (Montevallo, AL)
The Dragons now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northside for a 5A Area 9 test on Tuesday, October 8. Wenonah will face a Rams squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to East Lawrence (Trinity, AL). The Rams record now stands at 18-7.
