The West Springfield Spartans volleyball team (Springfield, VA), was knocked off 3-0 in Tuesday's league contest with the host Robinson Rams (Fairfax, VA)

The Rams (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against South County (Lorton, VA). The Stallions go into the Patriot battle with a 14-3 record. In their last battle, South County achieved victory over Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA), 3-1, in a league battle.

The Spartans now own a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodson for a Patriot battle on Thursday, October 9. West Springfield will meet a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-2 league win over Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 6-5.
