With the triumph, Appling County improves its record to 14-4 on the year. The Pirates host Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Thursday, October 9. The Raiders now hold a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crisp County for a non-league match on Thursday, October 9. Bacon County will battle a Cougars team coming off a 14-12 non-league win over Worth County (Sylvester, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 8-12.
