Georgia High School Softball - Crisp County drops to Bacon County
August 15, 2025: Cordele, GA 31015 Bacon County Raiders (Alma, GA) supporters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA), 13-2 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Bacon County improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Raiders host Thomasville (Thomasville, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a 1A D-I Region 1 game on Tuesday, August 19. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 4-2. Thomasville lost 6-1 in their recent league game against Brantley County (Nahunta, GA)
The Cougars now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Crawford County for a non-league game on Saturday, August 16. Crisp County will play a Eagles squad coming off a 11-3 non-league loss to Lamar County (Barnesville, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
