Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Bedford Kicking Mules (Temperance, MI) and the visiting Saline Hornets (Saline, MI), observed Bedford's volleyball team hold off Saline by a tally of 3-2.

The Kicking Mules (17-9) will now prepare for their contest against East Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MI). The Pioneers enter the non-league contest with a 24-6 record. In their last contest, East Grand Rapids was edged by Catholic Central (Grand Rapids, MI), 3-0, in a league test.

The Hornets now own a 17-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northville for a non-league test on Thursday, October 16.
