In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Boyd Yellowjackets volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Ponder Lions.

The Yellowjackets (25-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Valley View (Valley View, TX). The Eagles enter the 3A Region II District 10 challenge with a 4-17 record.

Next, the Lions meet the Paradise Panthers (Paradise, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 challenge, on Friday, October 10. Ponder will attempt to advance on its 21-11 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 24-10 record after their 3-0 league win over Callisburg (Gainesville, TX).
