The Cardington-Lincoln Pirates volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Mt. Gilead Indians to 1 in the Pirates league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pirates now possess a 3-17 record. They play next when they travel to East Knox for a Knox Morrow Athletic outing on Wednesday, October 8. Cardington-Lincoln will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Danville (Danville, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-19.

With the loss, Mt. Gilead drops to 3-18 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Crestline (Crestline, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 9.
