The Fruitdale Pirates volleyball squad (Fruitdale, AL), was defeated 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Washington County Bulldogs (Chatom, AL)

The Bulldogs (21-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Bayshore Christian (Fairhope, AL). The Eagles enter the 2A Area 1 challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Bayshore Christian was beaten by Chickasaw (Chickasaw, AL), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pirates meet the Southern Choctaw Indians (Gilbertown, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Fruitdale will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 3-0 league win over McIntosh (McIntosh, AL).
