Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Marion Warriors (Marion, KS) and the host Trinity Celtics (Hutchinson, KS), saw Marion's volleyball squad notch a victory over Trinity by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Marion improves its record to 11-16 on the season. The Warriors travel to Sterling (Sterling, KS) to meet the Black Bears in a Heart of America contest on Tuesday, October 7. The Black Bears go into the battle with a record of 14-11. Sterling lost 2-0 in their recent non-league battle against Berean Academy (Elbing, KS)

The Celtics now own a 2-20 record. They take the field next when they host Sacred Heart for a non-league contest on Thursday, October 9. Trinity will meet a Knights team coming off a 2-0 league win over Republic County (Belleville, KS). The Knights record now stands at 14-16.
