The Platte County Pirates topped the visiting Raytown Bluejays volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Pirates face the Chrisman Bears (Independence, MO) in a game, on Thursday, October 9. Platte County will attempt to advance on its 16-9 season record. The Bears go into the game with a 13-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to Grain Valley (Grain Valley, MO).

The Bluejays (9-10) will now prepare for their game against Truman (Independence, MO). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 8-15 record. In their last game, Truman lost by Belton (Belton, MO), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
