New Mexico High School Volleyball - Pojoaque Valley overwhelmed by Taos

October 7, 2025: Taos, NM 87571

The Taos Tigers topped the visiting Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Tigers face the Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) in a 4A District 2 game, on Thursday, October 9. Taos will attempt to advance on its 9-6 season record. The Sundevils come into the outing with a 5-10 record after their 3-2 league loss to Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM).

With the loss, Pojoaque Valley drops to 2-14 on the campaign. The Elks/elkettes host Moriarty (Moriarty, NM) to play the Pintos in a 4A District 2 outing on Thursday, October 9. The Pintos come into the outing with a record of 5-10. Moriarty won 3-1 in their recent non-league game against Aztec (Aztec, NM)
