Fans at Tuesday's league test between the Stuart W. Cramer Storm (Belmont, NC) and the visiting Shelby Golden Lions (Shelby, NC), saw Stuart W. Cramer's volleyball squad achieve victory over Shelby by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Stuart W. Cramer improves its record to 14-7 on the season. The Storm travel to East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC) to encounter the Warriors in a Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A test on Thursday, October 9. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 20-4. East Gaston won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against South Point (Belmont, NC)

Next, the Golden Lions meet the Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC) in a Southern Piedmont 2A/3A/4A challenge, on Thursday, October 9. Shelby will attempt to upgrade on its 2-19 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 18-5 record after their 3-1 league win over West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC).
