The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN) and the visiting Seton Catholic Cardinals (Richmond, IN), saw Union County's volleyball squad nip Seton Catholic by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Union County upgrades its record to 19-10 on the year. The Patriots travel to Lawrenceburg (Lawrenceburg, IN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 8. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 20-4. Lawrenceburg won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Batesville (Batesville, IN)

The Cardinals now own a 18-7 record. They play next when they host Jay County for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 8. Seton Catholic will play a Patriots squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to New Castle (New Castle, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 7-19.
