In Tuesday's league game, the McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) flag football team edged the visiting Antelope Titans (Antelope, CA), by a tally of 2-0.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Cordova Lancers (Rancho Cordova, CA) in a Metropolitan League game, on Thursday, October 10. McClatchy will attempt to better on its 22-0 season record. The Lancers enter the game with a 5-15 record after their 51-6 league loss to West Park (Roseville, CA).
