October 8, 2024: Windham, ME 04062 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Windham Eagles (Windham, ME) and the visiting Cheverus Stags (Portland, ME), saw Windham's soccer squad knock off Cheverus by a count of 3-1.
The Eagles (8-0) will now prepare for their battle against Scarborough (Scarborough, ME). The Red Storm enter the Class A - South battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Scarborough by Falmouth (Falmouth, ME), 2-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Stags battle the Bonny Eagle Scots (Standish, ME) in a Class A - South battle, on Thursday, October 10. Cheverus will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Scots enter the battle with a 4-5 record after their 3-1 league loss to Sanford (Sanford, ME).
