North Carolina High School Volleyball - Jones can't get by Southside
October 8, 2024: Chocowinity, NC 27817 Southside Seahawks (Chocowinity, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Jones Trojans (Trenton, NC), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Southside improves its record to 4-11 on the season. The Seahawks travel to Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC) to face the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Thursday, October 10. The Hurricanes go into the test with a record of 11-5. Pamlico County won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC)
The Trojans now own a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lejeune for a non-league test on Thursday, October 10. Jones will face a Devil Pups squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to East Carteret (Beaufort, NC). The Devil Pups record now stands at 5-11.
