New York High School Soccer - Columbia knocks off Albany
October 8, 2024: Albany, NY 12203 The Columbia Blue Devils soccer squad scored 6 points and held the host Albany Falcons to 0 in the Blue Devils league victory on Tuesday.
The Blue Devils now hold a 12-0 record. They play next when they travel to Guilderland for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 10. Columbia will play a Flying Dutchmen squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs, NY). The Flying Dutchmen record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, Albany moves to 5-6 on the year. The Falcons travel to Averill Park (Averill Park, NY) to play the Warriors in a Suburban Council- Gray bout on Thursday, October 10. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-7.
