In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Oceanside Pirates flag football team scored a tight 13-6 win over the Valley Center Jaguars.

With the win, Oceanside advances its record to 4-10 on the season. The Pirates host Del Norte (San Diego, CA) to play the Nighthawks in a Palomar battle on Monday, October 13. The Nighthawks go into the battle with a record of 11-4. Del Norte won 32-24 in their recent league battle against El Camino (Oceanside, CA)

The Jaguars now own a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ramona for a Valley match on Monday, October 13. Valley Center will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 14-12 non-league loss to La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-9.
